The incumbent assists in ensuring all garments are labeled and marked in preparation for packaging and shipment. This is a temporary position with a fixed term. Meaning, employment will conclude either on a specified end date or earlier if circumstances require. It is expected that the position will last for up to 6 months, with possible availability to move into a permanent role based on production needs and job performance. Both full-time and part-time positions are available. See schedule below for hoursSwing Shift Full-time ScheduleM, T, W, Th, 2:30PM to 11:45PM with possible adjusted schedule on FridaysSwing Shift Part-time Shifts AvailableMonday-Friday 3 PM to 7 PM or 7 PM to 11 PMStarting Pay$16.50 per hour with an additional $1.00 per hour differential for swing shiftResponsibilitiesReceives sewn product and verifies product informationAssists in setting up and aligning screens, plates, inks in preparation for printingLoads and unloads printing equipmentMay manually apply print to productIdentifies and replaces misprinted or unacceptable garmentsAssists in mixing inks, creating screens and platesKeeps screens and plates cleanMaintains and cleans machine and work areaMust be able to detect color variations to ensure print integrityCoordinates with supervisor on daily needs and assignmentsPerforms general housekeeping duties for products and assigned areasQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent. May be substituted with equivalent work experienceBasic math skills with the ability to count accuratelyLeadership skillsProblem-solving skillsMust be able to work at a high degree of efficiency and qualityMust be able to understand and communicate effectively in English to understand safety instructions, training, and team communications. Candidates must be able to successfully complete interviews and assessments fully in English with no translation services provided in order to assess English proficiency.Must possess an unexpired temple recommendMust be able to perform repetitive movements throughout an 8-hour shiftMost of the work is done while standing, stooping or walking and requires good dexterityDetail oriented, ability to learn and match different style numbers to meet production levelsMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Must have ability to operate machinery - box creation, folding machine, taping machine, pallet jackMust be able to read labels and communicate effectively with othersAbout UsChurch employees find joy and satisfaction in using their unique talents and abilities to further the Lord’s work.
