Note: This position is in the Voter Registration division of the Recorder's Office. This position requires flexibility as election schedules and workloads will vary. This is a temporary full-time position that is 40 hours per week or more. During peak election periods there will be mandatory overtime on evenings, weekends, and holidays.Typical Duties(Illustrative Only)Use of computer systems, Microsoft Suite, and other office machinesReceives, sorts, files and retrieves forms, correspondence and documentsUpdates, checks and completes records, forms and documentsVerifies discrepancies and makes correctionsProcesses documents to update and maintain files and recordsProcesses and distributes confidential and sensitive documentsOperates and maintains a variety of office equipmentPerforms data entryAnswers incoming phone callsProvides in-person early voting and registration services to the publicEssential functions of this position include but not limited to: sitting; working with and around others; dealing with interruptions, repetitive motion (hand/wrist/ elbow/ shoulder) for computer work, filing telephones etc.; Vision Acuity (Near) computer work; hearing for communicating with others with phone calls, meetings; speech for telephone and ordinary conversation/ communication; touch for typing, filing, writing and phones.Minimum QualificationsOne year experience in clerical work; OR, any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position. Must be a registered voter in Coconino County.
