This full-time role is responsible for delivering high-quality classroom and hands-on instruction, supporting apprentice success, and ensuring training aligns with industry standards and apprenticeship requirements. The ideal candidate is a licensed Journeyman Electrician with a passion for teaching, mentoring, and developing the next generation of skilled electricians.Key Responsibilities• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentorship to apprentices and instructors to support skilldevelopment, performance, and professional growth• Lead and oversee instructional staff, ensuring consistent delivery of curriculum, trainingstandards, and classroom effectivenessDeliver classroom instruction covering electrical theory, code, safety, and best practicesProvide hands-on training and demonstrations aligned with curriculum standardsSupport apprentices in developing technical skills and professional work habitsTrack attendance, progress, and completion of required courseworkPrepare apprentices for assessments, certifications, and on-the-job successMaintain compliance with apprenticeship, safety, and training requirementsCollaborate with apprenticeship, field, and training leadership to continuously improve programoutcomes• Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environmentQualifications & SkillsRequiredValid Journeyman Electrician LicenseMinimum of 4 years of experience as a Journeyman ElectricianInstructor certifications required (NCCER, OSHA, or equivalent), or willingness to obtain paid byCompanyPrior teaching, training, or mentoring experience (formal or informal)Strong working knowledge of the NEC and industry standardsAbility to clearly communicate technical concepts to diverse learnersCommitment to safety, quality, and workforce developmentBasic computer skills for reporting, documentation, and communicationPreferred• Experience working with apprenticeship programs (DOL, NCCER, IEC, or similar)• Bilingual in SpanishWork Environment & Physical RequirementSedentary: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required remain a stationary position over 75% of the time, constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery which can include a copy machine or printer, frequently communicates with internal and external contacts, and must be able to exchange accurate information. The employee is occasionally required to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, and handle up to 20 pounds (files or office supplies).
