Lead Software Developer – JDE ERP (JD Edwards EnterpriseOne)Job Summary#LOWCODEMINDS seeking an experienced Lead Software Developer – JDE ERP to lead the design, development, customization, and support of Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1) applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in JDE development tools, integrations, ERP architecture, and team leadership. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, mentoring developers, and delivering scalable ERP solutions that support enterprise operations.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end JDE ERP development projects and enhancements.Design, develop, customize, and maintain JDE EnterpriseOne applications and integrations.Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Develop and support:JDE custom applicationsReports (RDA, BI Publisher)Business FunctionsUBE reportsOrchestrator integrationsBSSV/Web ServicesManage Object Management Workbench (OMW) activities and package deployments.Provide technical leadership and mentor junior developers.Coordinate with functional consultants, QA teams, and business users.Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.Troubleshoot production issues and provide root-cause analysis.Support system upgrades, patches, and performance optimization.Create technical documentation, test plans, and deployment procedures.Participate in integration testing, UAT, and go-live support activities.Required Skills & QualificationsTechnical SkillsStrong experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) development.Expertise in:OMW (Object Management Workbench)FDA (Form Design Aid)RDA (Report Design Aid)Business FunctionsEvent Rules (ER)UBE developmentJDE OrchestratorBSSV / REST / SOAP integrationsExperience with:SQL / Oracle DatabasePL/SQLCNC concepts (preferred)BI Publisher / Create!FormKnowledge of ERP modules such as:Finance (AP, AR, GL)ProcurementInventoryManufacturingSales & DistributionFamiliarity with API integrations and third-party systems.Understanding of SDLC, Agile, DevOps, and version control systems.Leadership SkillsTeam leadership and mentoring experience.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.Typically, 8–12+ years of ERP/JDE development experience.2–5 years in a lead or technical leadership role preferred.Preferred QualificationsOracle JDE certifications.Experience with JDE 9.2 upgrades and cloud environments.Knowledge of integration middleware and enterprise architecture.Exposure to manufacturing or supply chain industries.
