Here, you'll be supported in progressing whatever your ambitions.About the RoleWith general supervisory direction, assist in the daily support of products, processes, materials, and equipment in order to achieve production goals in the MCT Laser Cutting factory (i.e., quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and safety).Work ModeAt Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows an onsite work model, requiring employees to be in our local office five days per week.RelocationRelocation assistance is not available for this position at this time.VISABoston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment VISA for this position at this time.Your Responsibilities Will IncludeIdentify and troubleshoot process, material, or equipment problems to minimize downtimeModify existing and develop new tooling and fixturesRevise existing documents, processes, and/or methods to correct or improve processes/productWork with vendors/suppliers to procure and install tooling, fixtures, and/or equipmentAssist in writing validation plans, executing plans, and completing validation reportsAssist in Value Improvement (VIP) and Employee Involvement Team (EIT) projects, implementing new equipment or processes or improving existing ones for cost savingsCollect data and perform statistical analysis for process characterization, Cpk, and scrap reduction goals.Work with Process Development to bring new products into productionWork with departmental customers to improve material quality and deliveryTrain and provide technical support or direction to product builders and other techniciansRequired Qualifications2 years of experience with a high school diploma/degree/equivalentPreferred QualificationsExperience with Class IV Laser systems2 years of experience as a technician in a manufacturing environmentCompensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, among other relevant business or organizational needs.Boston Scientific transforms lives through innovative medical technologies that improve the health of patients around the world.
