Senior Project Engineer

Job Description:Meet with engineering and field crews to review the production schedule, ensuring all materials, equipment, and resources are confirmed.Review drawings, design specifications, material requirements, and project data.Provide technical input for project work plans and scheduling.Identify potential risks related to production, materials, equipment, or processes that could impact the budget or schedule.Evaluate daily production, schedule, and budget projections to accurately track project performance.Update the project schedule weekly for owner and management reporting.Initiate and manage all Requests for Information (RFIs).Accurately report project quantities using assigned project cost coding to ensure accurate financial reporting.Coordinate with the accounting team to manage invoicing for materials, equipment, and subcontractor needs.Review and ensure the required certificates and permits are in place for work to be performed.Coordinate subcontractor work methods, schedules, and crews as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in a related field.2+ years of construction engineering experience.Experience with resource monitoring techniques (e.g., cost accounting, basic estimating) and construction technology, process systems, or structures is preferred.Ability to identify budget and project costs and recommend solutions to mitigate project delays.Knowledge of design-build and other alternative build techniques is a plus.Familiarity with financial reporting methods, quantity tracking, and cost coding.Knowledge of construction scheduling and time management for production is preferred.
