Compliance Underage Purchaser

Job Description Summary: CES is looking for reliable, detail-oriented individuals to perform non-confrontational compliance checks on local tobacco retailers to ensure the sale of tobacco products to Underage Purchasers is restricted. The inspection is used to establish a retailer’s compliance with federal regulations. This work is conducted on a part-time, case-volume basis with flexibility relevant to the individual’s schedule. Duties/Responsibilities: · Identify and verify site address provided · Physically enter the premises of a tobacco retailer and attempt the purchase of a tobacco product. · If purchase is made, Intern will turn over the product as evidence to the Agent per program protocol. · Intern will not deceive the retailer in any way Required qualifications/skills: ·16-20 years · Attention to detail · Strict adherence to program confidentiality requirements Physical Requirements: · Physically enter the premises of a tobacco retailer and attempt the purchase of a tobacco product Other: ·Adult Interns will use valid identification and will not lie about their age · Interns will complete all required training sessions: initial training, annual refreshers, ad-hoc · Must be able to undergo a background check meeting contract standards Job Type: Part-time Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule Work Location: On the road
