Software Developer (C# / PHP / JavaScript) – Entry Level to Mid-Level

About the Position We are seeking a motivated Software Developer to join our engineering team in Calverton, NY. You'll work on innovative mobile data collection and IoT solutions used by organizations worldwide. Our software powers barcode scanning, RFID systems, mobile computing devices, and other connected technologies that help businesses improve inventory management, asset tracking, field service, logistics, and manufacturing operations. Whether you're an entry-level developer looking to launch your career or have several years of experience, you'll have the opportunity to work on real-world products alongside an experienced development team. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain software applications and services Develop and enhance mobile and web-based applications Build and consume RESTful APIs and web services Collaborate with product managers, QA, and other developers Troubleshoot and resolve software issues Participate in code reviews and software design discussions Contribute to cloud-based application development and deployment Learn and work with barcode, RFID, and other IoT technologies Required Skills Experience with or coursework in: C# PHP JavaScript HTML/CSS Understanding of REST APIs and web services Familiarity with relational databases and SQL Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with any of the following is a plus: Amazon Web Services (AWS) Mobile application development RFID technologies Barcode scanning systems IoT devices and integrations Git or other version control systems MySQL or SQL Server What You'll Work On You'll help develop enterprise software used on: Android mobile computers Barcode scanners RFID readers Tablets and handheld devices Cloud-based management platforms Enterprise integrations with customer systems Who Should Apply We're looking for candidates with 0–5 years of professional experience.
