Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating charts.
Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide restaurant information.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entry area.
Communicate wait times and coordinate with servers to ensure smooth service.
Assist with guest inquiries, concerns, or special requests.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior customer service or hosting experience is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain professional and calm under pressure.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to move quickly and assist with seating arrangements.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
