Full Charge Bookkeeper (Experienced)
ELM Construction LLC, a design/build residential remodeling company recently recognized by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) for excellence in our field, is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper & Office Manager to join our growing team. You'll be the foundation of our financial accuracy and operational efficiency, ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes and contributing to our continued success.
What You'll Do:
Manage all aspects of bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online: processing invoices, payroll, and tax payments; reconciling accounts; generating financial reports.
Track project budgets and job costing, ensuring accurate financial data reflects reality.
Oversee administrative tasks: filing, scheduling meetings, maintaining office supplies, and customer relations.
Prepare and maintain financial records, including journal entries, general ledger accounts, and balance sheets.
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial data.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Generate financial reports for management review.
Uphold a positive and professional work environment.
What You Bring:
5+ years of combined bookkeeping and office management experience (degree a plus).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including debits/credits, journal entries, and financial concepts.
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and other relevant software (Microsoft Office Suite).
Strong emphasis on accuracy in financial recordkeeping.
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects.
