Our mission is to bring "big-business" financial expertise to the small business community.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a full-time, on-site Senior Tax Accountant to join our growing team. This is a key role within the firm, focused on owning client relationships, reviewing internal work, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of financial reporting.The ideal candidate has a strong public accounting background, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate confidently with clients. You will work directly with the principal advisor and play a critical role in managing client engagements from start to finish.Key ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle accounting for multiple small-business clients (cash & accrual basis)Review financial statements, journal entries, and reconciliations prepared by Staff AccountantsSupport bookkeeping and cleanup work when necessaryEnsure accuracy and compliance with GAAP standardsAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysisPreform trend analysis and tax projectionsCoordinate with tax preparers and auditors as neededReview business and personal tax returns (Forms 1120S, 1065, and 1040 required)Train and mentor staff accountants and assist in improving internal processesCommunicate directly with clients to explain financial reports, answer questions, and provide insightsAssist with onboarding new clientsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting3–7+ years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting or a client-service environmentProficiency in QuickBooks Desktop/Online, Excel/ Google Sheets, and modern accounting toolsStrong experience reviewing: S-Corporation returns (1120S), Partnership returns (1065), and Individual returns (1040)Strong understanding of GAAP and general ledger processesExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skillsLive within 20-30 minutes of Rancho Cucamonga, CANot interested in offshore or staffing agenciesSchedule & CompensationFull-time preferred (open to strong part-time candidates)Competitive pay $35-$40/hrOpportunities for growth into Manager or Advisory-level rolesCommunicate directly with clients to explain financial reports and recommendationsWhy Join UsDirect exposure to business owners and advisory workOpportunity to create client relationshipsCollaborative team environment with growth potentialYour work will directly impact client success and firm growthWe don't have crazy busy seasons, more of a stable year around demand.
