Kindergarten TeacherWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to provide high-quality, developmentally appropriate instruction to children ages 5-6. The ideal candidate will create an engaging, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that supports each child's academic growth, social-emotional development, and love of learning.Start date: July 2026ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards in reading, writing, mathematics, science, social studies, Latin, and extracurricular subjects.Create and maintain a warm, welcoming, and structured classroom environment that supports early childhood development.Teach and reinforce social skills, classroom routines, and self-regulation strategies.Use a variety of instructional strategies and hands-on activities to meet diverse learning styles.Regularly assess student progress using formal and informal assessment methods.Maintain open and consistent communication with parents and caregivers.Implement positive behavior management techniques and classroom guidance strategies.Accurately maintain records of attendance, assessments, and student portfolios.Stay current with Florida Early Learning and Developmental Standards and best practices.Participate in required curriculum and classroom training sessions.Keep the classroom clean, organized, and engaging.Communicate promptly with the front office regarding classroom needs or concerns.Differentiate instruction to support students who need additional assistance or enrichment.Qualifications Required Skills & Abilities:Strong communication and interpersonal skillsEffective classroom management and organizational abilitiesPatience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching young childrenAbility to differentiate instruction for diverse learnersFamiliarity with early literacy and numeracy instructionEducation & Experience: Bachelor's Degree or higher in any subject (copy of diploma or official transcript required)Three (3) or more years of K-12 teaching experienceDocumentation of qualifications to teach K-12 subjects (certifications, professional development, curriculum training, etc.)Note: Pre-K experience and certifications alone do not meet this requirement.
