Control Valve Technician & Relief Specialist

Job OverviewJoin our team as a Relief & Control Valve Technician, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and safety of valve systems for our clients. This hands-on position involves maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work at both customer sites and our service center. Your expertise will contribute to upholding our high standards of quality and safety while delivering exceptional service.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct hands-on valve maintenance and repair, including troubleshooting and assessments.Perform precision testing of Pressure Safety Valves (PSV) using certified equipment and complete necessary quality documentation.Disassemble, inspect, clean, and reassemble valves, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications.Read and interpret schematics for valve assembly and repair, documenting actions in either paper or electronic formats.Execute routine safety inspections and maintain a clean, organized work area to promote safe operations.Required SkillsProficient in manual machining and valve service operations.Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with customers and team members.Familiarity with Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) terminology and basic electrical schematics.Excellent organizational skills to manage workload efficiently.Practical experience in the oil and gas sector is advantageous.QualificationsCompletion of a trade school diploma/certification or equivalent practical experience in valve maintenance.Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are mandatory.Previous experience in similar roles will be considered an asset.Career Growth OpportunitiesOur company values continuous improvement and employee development.
