Paid Media Assistant
GPS Impact is hiring a seasonal, full-time Paid Media Assistant to join our growing Ad Buying Team. This position can be remote (pending location approval) or based in one of our physical office locations of Des Moines, IA, Kansas City, MO, Philadelphia, PA or Washington, DC. This is a seasonal position and will end on 11/30/2026.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Managing, organizing and updating vendor costs and proposals
Tracking political ad spending and reporting for internal and external stakeholders
Assist in the analyzing and reporting on political advertising spending
Assist in the planning and placement of linear media
In coordination with the production team, assist the Media Team with creative asset organization and distribution to appropriate vendors and media outlets
Develop media calendars and schedules for use by the Media Team
Assist the Media Buyer with day to day communication with vendors and affiliates as needed
Assist with the reconciliation of media invoices from vendors
REQUIREMENTS Have strong quantitative skills and experience in Excel and Google Sheets
Experience working in databases and data management platforms
Be highly organized and detail-oriented, with an ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Thrive in a fast-paced environment
Be dependable and trustworthy with an ability to work well independently and with others
Have a positive attitude and desire to lead
Proactive approach to problem solving
Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, both for internal and external communication
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Genuine interest in political advertising and understanding of paid media landscape
Experience in ASANA or other project management tools
Experience in AdImpact or other spending database tools
Experience in media buying or planning software such as STRATA or a DSP
Experience in data visualization

This position is part of the collective bargaining unit (CBU) organized under Teamsters Local 696 and is a full-time, exempt position with a base salary of $60,000.00 annually.
