We are a company ready to make a difference in education and support the current educator shortage.As a Teacher Aide, you'll assist classroom teachers by supporting students who need additional help to reach their full potential. You'll provide both academic and behavioral support within the classroom environment, helping maintain a positive and structured setting for all learners.Key Responsibilities:Assisting licensed staff in the classroomAid students in meeting their individualized education plan (IEP)Maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learningWork with individuals and/or small groups when activities and assignments are presentedProvide support for students in crisisUtilize a variety of learning methods to enhance the student's learning experiences and support them as neededBehavior management and de-escalation support Celebrate the students you're working with Support students with elements of personal care (feeding, toileting, etc.)Required Qualifications:Associates degree or 60 college credits1+ years experience in childcare/educationApplicants must have professional proficiency in EnglishUS Work Authorization - Zen Educate cannot provide sponsorship for an employment visa or relocation assistance at this time.Physical Requirements: Comfortable being on your feet and moving around the classroom throughout the dayAble to lift up to 20 lbs and safely assist students when needed (kneeling, bending, quick response)Additional physical requirements may be requested during your application processPreferred Qualifications:Previous experience working in special education classroomBehavioral Technician or PCA experienceCrisis prevention (CPI) trainingCPR certificationSalaryPay: $18 per hour, paid weekly.Schedule: Monday to Friday, within hours of 7:30 am - 3:00/4:30 pm (no weekend work).Benefits:Weekly Direct DepositPotential to qualify for health coverage and 401(k) participation, subject to role and eligibility criteria.Connect with a recruiter today to get started with your application!Ref: #KCTAZA-May26
