DevOps Cloud Engineer

Cloud Infrastructure Engineer – Summary Infrastructure & Operations Design, deploy, and manage AWS and on-prem infrastructure (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM). Use IaC tools (GitHub, Pulumi, CloudFormation) and optimize environments for performance, availability, and cost. Automation & CI/CD Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions), integrate security/compliance scanning, and use AI/automation to improve DevOps workflows. Security & Compliance Apply best practices for IAM, networking, encryption, XDR, monitoring, and logging. Support compliance, incident response, and vulnerability remediation. Monitoring & Reliability Maintain monitoring/alerting systems (SIEM/security tools). Troubleshoot hybrid infrastructure issues, participate in on-call rotation, and manage patching, BC/DR, and policy governance (AWS Systems Manager, Cloud Custodian). Collaboration & Improvement Work with developers and stakeholders to deliver reliable cloud solutions. Recommend new tools and automation opportunities, document standards, and support a collaborative, agile IT culture.
