Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery, ensuring high-quality production, and maintaining safety standards within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Operate and monitor various manufacturing equipment including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, press brake machines, and flexo presses. Set up machines using CAD drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications to ensure precise fabrication. Program and troubleshoot CNC equipment utilizing CAM programming and CNC programming skills. Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and adjustments on machinery to maintain optimal performance. Conduct quality control inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other tools to ensure parts meet specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics for proper assembly and fabrication processes. Handle materials using forklifts or other materials handling equipment safely within the manufacturing facility. Assist with fabrication tasks including welding, tooling setup, and assembly line operations as needed. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and OSHA standards. Document production activities accurately for quality assurance and process improvement. Skills Proficiency with Fanuc controls, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CNC programming, CAM programming, and CAD software such as SolidWorks. Experience operating various manufacturing machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, press brake machines, welding equipment, and fabrication tools. Strong mechanical knowledge related to machining processes, tooling setup, materials handling, and fabrication techniques. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings with understanding of GD&T principles. Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers for quality control purposes. Hands-on experience with factory operations including assembly line work, packaging, warehouse procedures, and materials handling. Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations during machining processes. Knowledge of safety standards in manufacturing environments to ensure compliance during operation of machinery such as forklift trucks or hand tools.
