Senior General Maintenance TechnicianThis senior role is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of all school facilities, grounds, and equipment. The goal is to keep everything safe, in working order, and in compliance with all regulations. This involves regular inspections and preventative maintenance, along with handling any necessary repairs, all to ensure a high standard of safety and efficiency for our students, staff, and the community.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent with journeyman experience in either the HVAC, plumbing, or electrical fieldExpert knowledge in the use of hand power tools and equipmentWorking knowledge of building and safety codesAbility to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and diagramsValid AZ driver's license and satisfactory criminal background checkVision and hearing are adequate to safely fulfill job responsibilitiesKnowledge of and adherence to all policies, rules, and regulationsCore Job Functions:Lead in a specialized craftsman field with journeyman-level knowledge in the repair, alteration, maintenance, construction, and installation of site buildings and groundsPlan, direct, monitor, and train other department employeesMaintain records of time, materials, and parts required to complete work ordersPerform heavy labor and maintenance workOperate truck, hand-powered tools, and equipment assignmentsOversee the work of other maintenance personnel as assigned by the supervisorImmediately report safety and security hazards and needs for major repairsPerform other duties relating to the general job function as assigned by the supervisorCore Values:Excellence in all we do.
