Candidates for the Board of Directors should have a passion for the organization's mission and a commitment to its values. Previous experience on nonprofit boards or in relevant professional fields such as finance, fundraising, or legal is highly valued. Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills are essential, as is the ability to work with diverse stakeholders and contribute to group decision-making.
