Remote Cloud & Infrastructure DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a Field & Cloud DevOps Engineer responsible forowning deployment, operation, and reliability of edge and cloud infrastructure.Key Responsibilities IncludeManaging end-to-end infrastructure across customer sites, edge devices, and AWS environmentsPlanning and executing customer deployments, collaborating with IT teams, and ensuring timely launchesDeploying and maintaining edge hardware, including OS management and troubleshootingDesigning, integrating, and troubleshooting customer networking, including VLANs, firewalls, and video infrastructureBuilding and operating AWS infrastructure with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, logging, and monitoringDeveloping automation tools using Python and shell scripting to streamline operationsEnsuring stable edge-to-cloud connectivity and data flow, and leading incident responseOptimizing cloud costs through monitoring, right-sizing, and working with external partnersProviding insights to improve system reliability and scalabilityPreferred qualifications include: experience with edge computing, IP camera systems, infrastructure-as-code, cost management, and startup environments.Success metrics: predictable deployments, stable systems, reliable cloud infrastructure, quick issue resolution, and efficient engineering workflows.
