Senior Infrastructure Project ManagerBoston, MA (4 Days Onsite / 1 Day Remote)Contract: 12 MonthsPay Rate: Up to $90.91/hr (W2)MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN asset management projectsOverviewOur client, a leading Boston-based university within its Division of Information Technology Services (ITS), is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Project Manager to lead large-scale, complex IT initiatives. This role is critical in driving infrastructure programs and device lifecycle/asset management projects, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities and business needs.This is a highly visible role requiring strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and hands-on project execution in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.Required QualificationsExperience8–10+ years of IT Project Management experienceProven experience managing infrastructure projects (networking, cabling, AV systems)Strong experience with IT asset management / device lifecycle programsExperience delivering large, cross-functional enterprise IT initiativesAbility to manage stakeholders across technical and business teamsTechnical & Functional SkillsStrong knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid)Experience with tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or ServiceNowExperience with vendor management and infrastructure deploymentsFamiliarity with network cabling, telecom systems, and AV technologiesInfrastructure Knowledge (Preferred)Experience with fiber optic, copper, and coaxial cablingUnderstanding of construction documentation and infrastructure designKnowledge of BICSI standardsRCDD certification (active or inactive) is a plusEducation & CertificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related fieldPMP, Agile, or PRINCE2 certification preferred
