We operate across application engineering, integrations, infrastructure, architecture, and program enablement to build resilient, scalable, and business-centric solutions.Role DescriptionSalesforce is seeking a high-impact,Senior Engineering Manager to lead the DET IT Application Engineering team.In this role, you will own end-to-end delivery of systems, integrations, and platforms that power Salesforce’s financial ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across DET IT, Q12C, Rev Rec, and Tax to modernize and scale financial systems supporting Salesforce’s continued growth.This role requires a strong blend of technical depth, people leadership, and execution excellence.Your ImpactBuild, lead, and scale a high-performing engineering teamDrive technical strategy and execution for financial systems and integrationsChampion engineering excellence, automation, and innovationPartner with business and technology leaders to deliver scalable, reliable solutionsKey ResponsibilitiesHire, develop, and retain top engineering talent; foster a culture of ownership, growth, and accountabilityLead and mentor a team of engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable solutionsDrive end-to-end delivery of financial systems, including integrations and automation frameworksCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define scope, priorities, and execution plansEstablish and enforce engineering best practices, including Agile, CI/CD, and DevOps principlesLead integration strategy leveraging platforms like MuleSoft and WorkdayOversee test automation strategy to ensure high-quality, reliable releasesManage stakeholder communication, risks, and delivery timelines effectivelyWork with global teams across time zones and manage vendor/partner contributionsDrive continuous improvement across engineering, operations, and delivery processesExperience & Skills12+ years of experience in software engineering, including proven experience in engineering managementStrong domain expertise in any of Cloud ERP systems (Workday, SAP, Oracle) across QTC, R2R, Revenue Recognition, and TaxDemonstrated ability to lead teams delivering complex, large-scale enterprise systemsExperience with integrations (preferably MuleSoft) and enterprise platforms like WorkdayStrong focus on engineering excellence, automation, and operational scalabilityExperience managing distributed teams and external vendor partnersSolid understanding of Agile/Scrum and modern software delivery practicesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent (preferred)For roles in San Francisco and Los Angeles: Pursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance and the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring, Salesforce will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
