As a key member of our Code Compliance team, you’ll play a hands-on role in moving high-profile projects forward - ensuring filings, permits, and approvals are completed accurately, efficiently, and with a strong customer focus. If you thrive on navigating city agency processes, solving regulatory challenges, and being part of a collaborative, fast-paced team, we’d love to meet you.A Day in the life of Senior Building Code Project ManagerManage end-to-end filing and permitting services across city agencies (DOB, LPC, FDNY, DOT, etc.), including Application Approvals, Permit Issuance, Signoffs, Violations, and TrackingPrepare proposals, monitor project budgets, issue Change Orders, and develop project schedules and milestones with internal teams and clientsLead standard Alteration Filings (ALT-2) and the full TCO/FCO process from filing through approval, proactively resolving DOB objections and ensuring timely Certificates of OccupancyMaintain ongoing communication with clients, design consultants, and construction managers to advance projects and remove roadblocks; conduct site visits and in-person meetings as neededMentor junior team members and participate in business development, including outreach, proposal presentations, and pitch meetingsWhat You Bring To The CodeGreen Team8-10 years of building code project management experience with demonstrated success filing for and obtaining TCOs and FCOs in New York City, including deep knowledge of DOB processes, inspections, and sign-off requirementsThorough knowledge of NYC permit application processes, city filing platforms (DOB Now, BIS, E-filing, Inspection Ready), and strategies around submission timing and approval sequencingDirect experience working with commercial/residential owners, tenants, developers, and architects, with strong familiarity with construction plansExceptional communication, organization, and attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities across clients and projectsProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project)What Codegreen Offers YouA challenging, rewarding position with the opportunity to grow your careerCompetitive compensation, benefits, and Insurance (health dental, etc.) with employer contributions.Ten paid holidays, competitive PTO program, and paid Parental Leave!Employee Assistance Program.401(k) Program with Company MatchProfessional development and training opportunities.Educational and professional membership dues reimbursementEmployee Referral Bonus ProgramWhy CodeGreen ?
