Job Overview
The Processing Specialist covers the day-to-day maintenance and recurring tasks of the processing function. The role will be focused on a specific processor to ensure processes are running correctly and alerting the proper teams when there are issues or interruptions. Please note this position is hybrid in our Chicago office with a minimum of 2-3 days a week.
What you'll bring to the table: (Responsibilities)
Review detailed credit card processing information on a large-scale utilizing Excel.
Ensure processing ids are onboarded successfully with the card network within days of location onboarding.
Conduct research when customer issues arise
Monitor automated processes and reports to ensure they are accurate
Complete processor change requests.
Pursue best practices for management of card processing including compliance.
Conduct Quarterly Audits
Do you have the right mix of ingredients: (Requirements)
1-3 years of experience in related field
Banking or credit card processing industry background is preferred but not required.
Experience with American Express is strongly preferred
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, and Outlook), Salesforce Lightening
Ability to navigate databases and use Excel as an analytical tool (Vlook ups, etc,)
Detail oriented and highly organized, flexible, self-motivated, and willing to learn and accept challenges.
Thrive in fast paced and constantly changing work environment.
Exhibit an established track record of delivering results on time.
Responsive to the needs of the department and can tackle various responsibilities.
High regard for industry compliance and maintaining and safeguarding confidential information.
