Main Responsibilities: Operate, maintain, troubleshoot multiple types of packaging equipment.Equipment may include, but is not limited to:Carton erectorsPartition insertersProduction inserters (MPV, VPM, PLU)Foil dispensersTop closersPalletization equipmentManual responsibilities include:Loading, building, and making boxesHand packaging of bottlesLoading labelsMaintenance includes:Perform routine cleaning, and minor maintenance of equipment to ensure smooth operationsMaterial handling:Loading/unloading packaging materials such as corrugate, containers, or other raw materialsDocumentation:Accurately document records of finished goods, packaging specifications, or any visual quality checksPerform changeover's of divers packaging equipment (eg case erector, partition inserter, top sealer, ...)Applies correct labelsPerform quality check consisting of visual inspection of overall product, labels, and packaging integrity for defectsHousekeepingPerform autonomous maintenancePerformance Metrics:Labeling Accuracy: Maintains a labeling accuracy rate of 100% by consistently following all labeling procedures without deviation.Quality Control Compliance: Performs all required quality checks with 100% completion and accuracy, identifying and reporting any defects per standard operating procedures.Line clearance accuracyAutonomous maintenance completionCompetencies:Ensures accountabilityDecision qualityCommunicates effectivelyInstills trustCollaboratesValues differencesDrives resultsQualifications and Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent requiredMin. 6 months of manufacturing experience preferredCapable of lifting 55 pounds and to stand for a minimum of 12 hoursAble to work with multiple types of equipment simultaneouslyHigh cleanliness standards for the machines and work areaPhysical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that might be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
