Howdy! We’re thunder::tech, an innovative integrated marketing agency headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio. We’re looking for a skilled Application Developer (.NET Core) to join our Development Department.The Development Department is responsible for day-to-day project production and is composed of four teams: application development, front-end development, digital support, and systems operations (sysops). We collaborate closely across disciplines to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable digital solutions for our clients.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building robust back-end systems, APIs, and CMS-driven applications using modern Microsoft technologies.Specific ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain applications and APIs using .NET Core / .NETBuild and extend CMS-driven and custom web applicationsDesign, manage, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databasesImplement object-oriented, testable, and maintainable codeAssess technical requirements and contribute to project scope, timelines, and estimatesCollaborate with front-end developers, designers, and sysops to deliver complete solutionsProvide ongoing project status updates to internal teams and managementStay current with evolving Microsoft, web, and cloud technologiesParticipate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planningPresent back-end architecture and implementation details to internal teams and clients as neededPrimary QualificationsStrong experience with .NET Core / .NET and C#Experience building APIs and server-side web applicationsProficiency with Microsoft SQL Server, including schema design and stored proceduresSolid understanding of object-oriented programming and application architectureExpected ExperienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)1–3 years of professional experience developing applications using Microsoft web technologiesExperience working with CMS platforms such as:KenticoSitefinitySitecoreExperience with Microsoft Visual Studio and Git-based source controlThis position provides a market-competitive base salary between $65,000 and $75,000, with the final amount determined by the candidates' experience and qualifications.
