This job was posted by https://www.kansasworks.com : For moreinformation, please see: https://www.kansasworks.com/jobs/13564833Primary Purpose:**\To support the Districts vision to create a student-centered environmentwhere all members of the\school-community are empowered to parcipate and thrive academically,civically, and socially through\relevant educaonal experiences to achieve and fulfill their lifespurpose.\Qualificaons:\Educaon/Cerficaon: Bachelors degree in educaon and acve Kansas teachinglicense\Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of content and instruconalstrategies, excellent\organizaonal, communicaon, and interpersonal skills; ability to instructstudents and\manage their behavior; ability to present informaon one-on-one, smallgroup, and\large group situaons to students, families, and district staffExperience:**\Major Responsibilies And DuesInstruct assigned classes in the locaons and at the mes designated.Plan a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, andabilies of the students.Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning andappropriate to the maturity\and interests of the students.Prepare for classes assigned, and show wrien evidence of preparaon uponrequest of the\administraon.Encourage students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior.Guide the learning process toward the achievement of curriculumstandards by establishing clear\objecves for all lessons, units and projects and communicate theseobjecves to students.Employ a variety of instruconal techniques, technology, and instruconalmedia, consistent\with the physical limitaons of the locaon provided and the needs andcapabilies of the\individuals or student groups involved.Strive to implement by instrucon and acon the districts philosophy ofeducaon and\instruconal standards.Assess the accomplishments of students on a regular basis and provideprogress reports as\required.Connually assess the needs of students and refer to the appropriatebuilding level individual(s)\when learning concerns have been idenfied.Take all necessary and reasonable precauons to protect students,equipment, materials, and\facilies.Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by theteachers negoated\agreement, Board of Educaon policy, administrave regulaon, and laws ofthe state of Kansas.Assist the administraon in implemenng all policies and rules governingstudents.
