Sr. Manager of Analytics and Insights
Job Summary: The Senior Manager of Analytics and Insights will oversee the development and execution of analytical strategies that drive business decisions and performance improvements. This role involves leading a team of analysts, working closely with senior leadership, and leveraging data to provide actionable insights. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of data analytics tools, and the ability to communicate complex findings in a clear and actionable manner.Key Responsibilities:Lead and Manage: Direct and mentor a team of analysts to ensure the effective delivery of insights and analysis. Foster a collaborative environment and support professional development.Strategic Insights: Develop and implement data-driven strategies to support business objectives. Translate complex data into actionable insights that drive decision-making and strategic planning.Data Analysis: Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of large datasets. Utilize advanced statistical techniques and data modeling to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.Reporting and Visualization: Create and present comprehensive reports and dashboards to senior leadership. Utilize data visualization tools to effectively communicate insights and recommendations.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including marketing, finance, and operations, to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights.Performance Measurement: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of business strategies and initiatives.Technology and Tools: Stay current with the latest analytics tools, technologies, and best practices. Evaluate and implement new tools to enhance analytical capabilities and efficiency.Project Management: Lead analytics projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results. Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in data analytics or a related field, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership role.Skills:Proficiency in data analytics tools and technologies (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI).Strong understanding of statistical analysis, data modeling, and predictive analytics.Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.Proven experience in managing and developing a team of analysts.Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset.Additional Requirements:Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
