Position: AssemblerShift: Day ShiftJob Responsibilities:Assemble valves in accordance with established Valvtechnologies production and quality control guidelines, VQP 011Test valves in accordance with established Valvtechnologies production and quality control guidelines, VQP 010Strict technical specification and application/customer requirement compliance during productionPull parts for purchasing, sales, production, inventory ordersMaintain a clean and organized working environmentPull sales order jobs, as well as I-jobs for vendorConfirm that the materials pulled completely match sales order document station provided by shop file, including parts identification and quantity of parts to be shippedBefore shipment goes to Shop or Shipping Clerk, have Shop Lead or HP Production Manager check order for accuracy, this will eventually become the responsibility of this position)Write sales order number, job number on parts if they are going out to vendor. If order is going to Production, write sales order on pallet or binAfter order is pulled, clock out order documentation via barcodeCall Shipping Department or Low or High-Pressure shop when order is pulled. If order is going to Shop, write staging location on file and give file to department managerStock inbound freight and replenish Warehouse locationsAfter locating and stocking parts, clock inventory into system through M2M via barcode. Ensure quantity input in the system is 100% correctReplenish pulling location from overstock locations on a daily basis as neededHousekeeping and safety check of equipmentCleaning of department to be done on a daily basis and back storage yard to be done as neededMay perform any other work-related functions as deemed necessary and appropriate by immediate supervisorSkills and Abilities:Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality processesMust be able to use pneumatic tools and hand toolsPrefer experience with actuators and automated valvesMust a mechanical aptitudeMust be able to read blue prints, part numbers on orders and interpret instructionsAbility to work in a team-oriented environment that is fast paced and demanding.Must be self-directed, have excellent initiative and organizational skills.Exhibits a strong ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive and energy.Works well meeting multiple deadlines with the ability to deliver on time.Excellent written and verbal communications skills.Exhibits a strong ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive and energy.Works well meeting multiple deadlines with the ability to deliver on timeExcellent written and verbal communications skillsCore Qualifications:Minimum 6 months experience as in assembly or relevant work experienceMust be able to work night shift
