We are seeking a knowledgeable and collaborative 245D Program Supervisor to join our leadership team and help guide high-quality services for the people we support and the staff who serve them.Position SummaryThe 245D Program Supervisor is responsible for overseeing staff and programs within our 245D licensed services. This role provides supervision, leadership, and regulatory guidance to ensure services are delivered in compliance with licensing requirements and reflect best practices in the developmental disabilities field.Major Areas of AccountabilityStaff Supervision & DevelopmentProvide supervision, job direction, and ongoing performance evaluation for Training Specialists, Training Assistants, and Substitute staffAssist with hiring, onboarding, orientation, and ongoing staff training in accordance with 245D operating rulesEnsure all required training is current and documentedCoordinate daily staffing patterns to meet program and participant needsProgram Oversight & ComplianceAssist in developing, reviewing, and implementing policies and procedures in alignment with licensing requirements and program needsMonitor compliance with legal, regulatory, and licensing standardsComplete and update 6790 forms as requiredMonitor written program reports and relevant data to support quality outcomesLeadership & PlanningCoordinate and implement program changes that improve participant services and outcomesParticipate in overall agency planning and goal developmentStay informed on legislative and regulatory updates and provide guidance to agency leadershipKeep current with developments and best practices in the developmental disabilities fieldParticipant & Stakeholder CoordinationCoordinate participant admissions, transfers, and dischargesAttend participant planning meetings and Expanded Support Team meetings as neededCommunicate effectively with people with developmental disabilities, their families, and external professionals and agenciesOther DutiesPerform other related duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesDemonstrated ability to supervise and support the work of othersStrong written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of the developmental disabilities field and 245D servicesAbility to provide leadership in program planning and implementationAbility to interpret regulations and lead their effective implementationAbility to develop, support, and facilitate a collaborative teamAbility to work respectfully and effectively with diverse populationsAbility to interact positively with people with developmental disabilitiesAbility to use or learn required computer systemsCommitment to teamwork, cooperation, and a respectful workplace cultureQualificationsa baccalaureate degree in a field related to human services, and one year of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; OR an associate degree in a field related to human services, and two years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; OR a diploma in a field related to human services from an accredited postsecondary institution and three years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older; OR a minimum of 50 hours of education and training related to human services and disabilities; and four years of full-time work experience providing direct care services to persons with disabilities or persons age 65 and older under the supervision of a staff person who meets the qualifications identified in 245D.Previous supervisory experience preferred
