Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse PractitionerThe Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner provides psychiatric health care services to patients within scope of license, performs mental health examinations, diagnostic testing, assessments and screenings, prescribes medications and instructs patients and family members on psychiatric illnesses and treatment options.Minimum Requirements:Licensed as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) by state in which employee is practicingCertification as a Nurse Practitioner by a nationally accredited nursing organization (e.g. American Academy of Nurse Practitioners – AANP, American Nurses Credentialing Center – ANCC) is preferredSpecialty Certification as per client request and or state regulations if applicableOne year experience as a PMHNP preferredThree years' experience in mental health field preferredMaintain collaboration agreements, per state requirementsCurrent CPR if applicableTB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicableCurrent Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)Must meet all federal, state and local requirementsMust be at least 18 years of age
