A company is looking for a Professional Coder III - Pediatric Hospitalist. Key Responsibilities Timely and accurate coding of hospital-based professional services by reading medical record documentation Maintain current knowledge of coding guidelines and regulations through professional literature and continuing education Serve as a resource for less experienced coders and provide physician education for accurate documentation Required Qualifications Graduation from an accredited medical coding program Three years of medical coding experience in a similar environment National coding certification (CPC or CCS) is desired Experience in coding physician professional services in a teaching environment Familiarity with Medicare Teaching Physician Rules and facility fee services
