Details Located on the 4th Floor Cardiac/Nephrology unit of a Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center hospital in Nashville, TN 34-bed unit with a 6:1 patient ratio Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week 4 weekend shifts required per 13-week schedule Floating to other departments based on census and staffing need Unit staffed with Unit Secretaries (day shift) and PCTs on all shifts Documents using Meditech EMR 13-week contract Requirements Active RN license — TN state license or Compact RN license required Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment) Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — Canadian SSNs not accepted One professional reference required No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Navy scrubs are required Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible This is a travel position; candidates living within 50 miles of the facility do not qualify American Traveler Job ID P-692475.
