(*in collaboration with AbbVie)About The RoleWe are looking for a highly qualified and collaborative Scientist to join our Lead Generation Biology team to work across multiple functional teams to develop, qualify and perform MSD immunoassays, flow cytometry and cell-based assays to screen, characterize and identify lead biologic therapeutic and platform candidates. The position requires excellent scientific, technical and laboratory experience and skills with strong organizational and communication skills to effectively interact across teams in delivering high-quality, fit-for-purpose, decision-making data to project teams. The individual will be responsible for documenting protocols and regularly presenting clear written and verbal data summaries. The work is fast-paced and process-oriented in an environment where efficiency and continuous improvement are integral goals._Your Contributions (include, But Are Not Limited To)Design and develop fit-for-purpose immunoassays to evaluate in vitro and ex vivo samples for relevant analytes in a non-regulated environment to support antibody discovery and platform programs. Apply bioanalytical principles to assay development and qualification aligned with intended use. Use strong scientific insight to guide method development, in collaboration with project, translational, and in vivo teams to generate key data to drive decisions for therapeutic and platform programsScreen diverse antibody panels to advance programs through critical stage gates by generating and delivering high-quality, relevant data. Use your expertise in immunoassays, BLI, cell-based assays, and/or flow cytometry to design and implement impactful assays in collaboration with project teams. Apply your scientific and technical knowledge, along with an understanding of project objectives, to identify relevant, translatable, and fit-for-purpose methods that support lead candidate selectionsEmploy best practices in data and statistical analysis, QC and documentation to support generation of high-quality, reproducible, and physiologically relevant data. Must be familiar with common data analysis methods and software, such as Prism, Spotfire, Microsoft Office, ELN, etc.Work independently and within cross-functional teams to manage and deliver on multiple projects without compromising data quality. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program.
