Engineering Technician

As an Engineering Technician, you will be an integral part of the Engineering Department supporting the development and testing of cutting-edge electromechanical systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.Job Title: Engineering TechnicianLocation: Sunnyvale, CAPay Range: $25/hr on w2Please apply - https://www.livehire.com/job/abbott/HGYJAshare resume - gayatri.samantara@abbott.comWhat's the Job?Perform research and engineering laboratory functions involving layout, building, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying mechanical or electromechanical materials, devices, assemblies, and systems.Maintain an electronic development lab, ensuring equipment calibration and operational readiness.Diagnose and repair development boards, including soldering down to 0402 and smaller components.Operate standard EE lab bench equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMMs, and function generators to gather data and verify boards.Follow test plans, analyze data, and contribute to detailed reports to support product development and troubleshooting efforts.What's Needed?Associates Degree in electronics or related field preferred; 1-2 years of relevant work experience required.
