Machine Operator

*Schedule:*

• Monday-Friday
• 1st Shift (7:00AM – 3:30PM)
• 2nd Shift (3:00PM – 11:30PM)
• 3rd Shift (11:00PM – 7:30AM)

*Pay Rate:*

• $21.00/Hour
• +$1.00/Hour shift differential

*Training:*

• 1st Shift
• 6-8 weeks

*Position Overview*

• Manufacturing and packaging of thermoformed plastic food containers and others according to specifications.

*Main Duties and Responsibilities*

• Operate and start up thermoforming machines and annex equipment efficiently
• Packaging of products
• Solving production issues
• Setting up and adjusting reel, machines and peripherals
• Finishing of goods for internal transport
• Prepare raw materials / materials not processed. transport / storage
• Check production according to recipe / specifications
• Operate automation systems (if applicable)
• Support in Extrusion: sheet Rolling, Measurement Extrusion
• Thermo grinder: change grinding and stocking
• Transport of full and empty waste baskets
• Transport of full and empty goat foil
• Add auxiliary materials
• Take over personnel in thermoforming during breaks
• Labeling of boxes and product identification
• Filling of production cards, quality control forms
• Quality
• Check product quality, report quality issues, resolve quality issues and ensure traceability
• Clean the work environment, empty the dirt trays
• Compliance BRC/FDA – IOP regulations + hygiene instructions
• Safety
• Report unsafe situations and exercise safe operation

*Qualifications:*

• Education
• Relevant technical education equivalent to secondary/college level, mechanical degree is a plus, or corresponding technical experience
• Work Experience
• Prior experience in thermoforming processes, or at least a similar process
• Computer skills to operate software and communicate electronically
