Manager of Strategic Planning

GENERAL SUMMARY: The Manager, Strategic Planning performs project work of a generally complex nature, with responsibility for oversight of strategic planning analysis. Project assignments include leading and managing strategic planning projects, supporting environmental assessments and market research, assessing strategic implications on the organization and marketplace, preparing reports and proposing recommendations for internal and external customers. The Manager coordinates work with other strategic support services areas such as analytics, finance, facilities, transformation, and marketing. The manager facilitates and oversees team assignments and project resources as they pertain to projects assigned to the Manager. The Manager communicates regularly and often works directly with leaders on a wide variety of topics and/or projects. Critical thinking, problem solving, analytical approach, relationship building, flexibility, innovation, and creativity are necessary characteristics.
