Safety Manager/Representative Safety Manager/Representative Location: Thousand Oaks, CA Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 (Based on Experience) Position Overview We are seeking a proactive Safety Field Representative to serve as the on-site safety engineer and advocate for safe work practices across construction, commercial, and industrial projects. The primary purpose of this role is to implement and enforce safety programs, perform hazard assessments and inspections, investigate incidents, and work with project teams to ensure compliance with OSHA and company EHS policies. Key Responsibilities Serve as on-site Safety Engineer, conducting inspections and hazard assessments. Enforce safety programs and ensure OSHA/EHS compliance. Investigate incidents and near misses; develop corrective actions. Lead safety training, toolbox talks, and new-hire orientations. Maintain safety records, permits, reports, and compliance logs. Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety into operations. Track safety metrics and recommend improvements. Support emergency planning, audits, and regulatory inspections. Promote a strong safety culture through coaching and observations. Qualifications 3+ years of construction, commercial, or industrial safety experience. Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and EHS practices. Excellent communication, coaching, and report-writing skills. Valid driver's license and ability to travel between job sites. Experience in safety, EHS, OSHA, quality, or construction safety roles. OSHA 30, CSP, CHST, or similar certifications preferred.
