If you enjoy problem-solving, thrive in a team environment, and take pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work that helps drive business success, we'd love to meet you!What You'll DoThis role combines foundational accounting expertise with strong systems and process design capabilities to support accurate financial operations, improve data quality, and enhance how the organization leverages Deltek for decision-making.The position partners closely with Accounting, Finance leadership, and the SaaS Deltek Administrator to align system capabilities with business needs considering operational requirements, system integrity, and long-term scalability.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess Design, Optimization & System AlignmentDesign, document, and continuously improve finance and accounting workflows within Deltek, including billing, revenue support, cost capture, reconciliations, and close-related processesTranslate business and accounting requirements into structured, system-aligned processes that drive consistency, efficiency, and scalabilityIdentify and resolve gaps between current practices and system capabilities, reducing manual workarounds and improving alignment with standard Deltek functionalityEvaluate process changes and system enhancement requests, balancing business needs and internal controlsAccounting Integration, Close Support & ControlsPartner with the Controller and accounting team to ensure Deltek workflows align with financial reporting requirements, close cycles, and compliance expectationsSupport general ledger integrity through review of account activity, reconciliations (bank, credit card, and key accounts), and validation of system-driven outputsAssist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities to produce accurate, complete, and audit-ready resultsContribute to the development and maintenance of internal controls, ensuring appropriate segregation of duties and consistency across accounting processesData Integrity, Reporting & Business InsightsEnsure finance and accounting workflows generate consistent and reliable data for financial reporting and operational decision-makingTranslate accounting logic and business processes into clear definitions that support reporting tools and dashboards in coordination with the IT teamIdentify data inconsistencies, process breakdowns, or structural issues and drive resolution through system or process improvements in coordination with the ControllerUser Enablement, Documentation & Cross-Functional CollaborationServe as a key resource for Finance and Accounting teams on effective use of Deltek, providing training, guidance, and ongoing supportMaintain clear documentation of workflows, system usage standards, and process expectations to support consistency and audit readinessCollaborate closely with the Deltek/SaaS Administrator on system configuration, ensuring business requirements are clearly defined and executedAct as a translator between technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive clarity, accountability, and effective use of Deltek Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, Business, or related field5+ years of combined experience in related rolesHands-on experience with ERP systems (Deltek Vantagepoint strongly preferred)Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and close cyclesExperience designing or improving business processes and workflowsAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel, SQL, and PowerBI)What We OfferCompetitive salary: $75,000 – $115,000 annually, depending on experienceProfessional development and career growth opportunitiesCoaching and Mentorship programsPerformance bonuses for qualified employeesGenerous vacation and sick leave programs (increases with tenure)Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance401(k) with company match and profit sharingEducation ReimbursementPaid HolidaysHealth club subsidyA collaborative, team-centered work environmentEmployee ownership opportunities after qualified years of serviceThe application window will be open through August 5, 2026.
