Currently, the job description of our Jr. Superintendent is: Job Title: Junior Construction Superintendent (Assistant Superintendent) Location: Palm Beach County, FL Company: AMAC Building Professionals, Inc. About Us We are a growing General Contractor specializing in commercial construction projects throughout Palm Beach County and surrounding areas. Our work includes ground-up construction and interior buildouts for schools, municipal, and private sector clients. We are looking for a motivated individual who wants to build a long-term career in construction management and grow into a full Superintendent role. Position Overview The Junior Superintendent supports the Project Manager in managing daily field operations, subcontractors, scheduling, safety, and quality control on active construction projects. This position is intended as a training path to become a Lead Superintendent. This is a hands-on field leadership role — not an office position. Responsibilities Assist Project Manager with daily site supervision Coordinate subcontractors and deliveries Maintain jobsite safety and enforce OSHA standards Perform daily logs, photos, and reports Help manage project schedule and 2-week look-ahead schedules Review plans and report conflicts or missing information Conduct punch walks and quality control inspections Verify work completed before inspections Assist with inspections and owner/architect walkthroughs Maintain clean and organized jobsite Track tools/materials and long-lead items Communicate with project manager regarding job progress Requirements 3-6 years construction experience (Foreman, Lead Carpenter, Field Engineer, or similar) Ability to read construction drawings Basic knowledge of commercial construction processes Strong organizational and communication skills Comfortable using smartphone/tablet apps (photos, email, reports) Willing to travel to jobsites in Florida Willingness to learn and grow into a Superintendent role Preferred (not required): OSHA 10 or 30 Experience with commercial, public projects or government projects Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Career growth path to Superintendent Paid time off & holidays Training & professional development Vehicle provided or vehicle allowance (after training period) Bonus potential based on performance Why Join Us We are looking for someone who wants a career — not just a job.
