Discipline Team Members as neededCommunicate regularly with the front desk to ensure all early outs, late check outs, etc. are taken care of accordinglyClean rooms as needed according to Suburban Inns and Hotel Brand standardsAssist with laundry and the cleaning of public areasInspect all due out rooms to ensure the cleanliness exceeds standards: When a problem is found in a room, the housekeeper must be sent back to correct it immediately, with guidance if neededInspect for safety issues and report any maintenance issues to the maintenance departmentReport any special room issues (i.e. damage, smoke, pets, etc.) to the Guest Service Manager, AGM, or GM for charges to be appliedAssist in checking ALL vacant and inspected rooms every day, looking for any issues that need to be addressedStrip dirty linens off beds in order to assist Team MembersShuttle clean and/or dirty linens between laundry room and housekeepersPut away deliveries as soon as they arrive in order to ensure all storage rooms are fully stocked and organizedMaintain a positive attitude throughout the shift, and keep Team Member morale highFollow all Suburban Inns ProcessesExhibit regular and recurrent attendance recordsOther duties as requested by managementPosition Requirements:Minimum Knowledge: Requires ability to interpret / extract information and / or perform arithmetic functions. May require typing, basic computer knowledge, record keeping, or word processing. Good communication skills Formal Education and Job-Related Experience: This position requires a minimum of six months job-related experienceLicense, Registration, and/or Certification Required:Work Schedule: Work regularly requires or varies between day, evening, night, holiday, or weekend assignments. Schedule varies according to business demands and needsRequired Travel: Position does require some travel to other Suburban Inns properties and/or client and vendor locationsUniform and Appearance Guidelines:Uniform: Uniform and name tag provided. Close-toed shoes are the responsibility of the Team Member.Appearance: Hair must be kept well-groomed. All facial piercings and tattoos that are not covered by a work uniform must be approved by management. Any tattoo that is deemed offensive to co-workers, guests, vendors or others in the workplace based on racial, sexual, religious, ethnic, or other characteristics or attributes of a sensitive or legally protected nature are not permitted and must remain covered or concealed at all times.
