The developer will collaborate closely with JPMC engineers to build and enhance a new component of the firm’s self-directed investing platform, leveraging AI-driven development practices and modern mobile engineering standards. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain native Android applications using KotlinCollaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, QA engineers, and JPMC developersContribute to the development of a new self-directed investing offeringIntegrate AI-assisted development workflows and tools into the software development lifecycleBuild scalable, maintainable, and high-performance mobile applicationsWrite clean, reusable, and testable code following best engineering practicesParticipate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisionsRequired QualificationsStrong hands-on experience in native Android developmentExpert-level proficiency in KotlinSolid understanding of Android SDK, app lifecycle, and architecture patternsExperience building complex, production-grade mobile applicationsFamiliarity with REST APIs and backend integrationsExperience with Git and modern CI/CD workflowsPreferredFinancial services or fintech experienceExposure to AI-assisted development tools
