Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.Procurement Specialist II Responsibilities IncludeCollecting, validating, and documenting customer requirements to support timely procurement actionsIdentifying procurement issues, risks, and constraints that may affect acquisition strategy and executionAnalyzing and troubleshooting acquisition requirement packages to ensure completeness and traceabilityIdentifying procurement data sources and improving methods for procurement strategy, analysis, and reportingAssisting in the development and design of reports and dashboards to support acquisition analysis needsSupporting the development of procedures, manuals, job aids, and other materials to improve procurement systems and workflowsCoordinating with stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies, clarify requirements, and support decision-makingPerforms other job-related duties as assignedProcurement Specialist II Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities RequestedBachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)-Preferred 4+ years of experience supporting procurement, acquisition, contract support, or purchasing operations-Required Experience collecting requirements and producing procurement/acquisition reports for stakeholdersStrong ability to analyze requirements, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actionsProficiency in Microsoft® Office suite (Word®, Outlook®, Excel®, PowerPoint®)Ability to learn and use government/proprietary procurement systems and reporting tools as requiredStrong writing skills for SOPs, manuals, and process documentationMust pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee FederalCompany InformationCherokee Nation Government Solutions (CGS) is a part of Cherokee Federal – the division of tribally owned federal contracting companies owned by Cherokee Nation Businesses.
