Catering Specialist/Inshopper

Jimmy John's is looking for a motivated, outgoing In-Shop / Catering Manager to join our team. This is a dual-role position combining in-shop sandwich making with dedicated hours focused on growing catering sales in the local community. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys customer interaction, staying active, and taking ownership of results. Position BreakdownIn-Shop Team Member: Up to 20 hours per week Catering Manager Responsibilities: Approximately 8 hours per week in addition to In-Shop hours In-Shop ResponsibilitiesMake fast, accurate, and high-quality sandwiches Provide friendly, freaky-fast customer service Operate POS system and handle cash transactions Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards Assist with prep, stocking, and general shop duties Support team members during busy shifts Catering Manager ResponsibilitiesCanvas the local delivery area to generate catering sales Visit offices, schools, medical facilities, and local businesses Build relationships with decision-makers and repeat customers Distribute menus, samples, and promotional materials Track outreach efforts and follow up with potential clients Coordinate catering orders with in-shop management to ensure flawless execution What We're Looking ForOutgoing, confident, and comfortable talking to people Self-motivated with strong time management skills Reliable transportation for local canvassing Ability to work independently and as part of a team Prior food service or sales experience is a plus (but not required) Must be willing to have open availability, preferably in the morning to early afternoon Why Work With UsFlexible scheduling Opportunity to directly impact store sales and growth Supportive management and team environment Great fit for someone who wants more responsibility than a typical in-shop role Pay: $12/hr + commission Schedule: Part-time Work scheduleDay shift Monday to Friday Supplemental payCommission pay BenefitsFlexible schedule Mileage reimbursement
