System Engineer/Test Analyst with Security Clearance

LTC Solutions is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst/Engineer to provide system administration support services to programs and projects for our government customer located in Stafford, VA. Systems Engineer/Test Analyst will analyze, plan, develop, test, refine, document, and provide a secure network support, including wireless, for SED in support of USMC. Experience as a safety officer (Military or Civilian) is a must. Performs a variety of complex project tasks applied to specialized technology problems. Tasks involve integration of electronic processes or methodologies to resolve total system problems or technology problems. Applies analytical and systematic approaches in the resolution of problems of workflow, organization, and planning. Directs and assists system engineers in the application of system engineering principles to the solution of secure systems design problems. 5+ years of experience. Active DoD clearance required. Position Description: Integrate hardware and software applicationsConduct the integration and researchDevelop Hardware Configurations, Software Version Descriptions (SVDs), Baseline Letters, Build Procedures, and Test Plans/ReportsProduce RDT&E proposalsPropose improvements to established Minimum Viable Product (MVP)Research and test Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) and Government Off-the Shelf (GOTS) “Data Loggers” to determine their capabilities and effectivenessProvide technical input and feedback to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Support Engineering Review Board (ERB) and Configuration Control Board (CCB) by participating in meetings, generating Engineering Change Proposals, and completing reviews and action itemsConduct System Engineering Technical Reviews (SETRs) Procure the hardware and software required to establish the SIL and provide appropriate levels of engineering and manning to conduct the integration and research in support of SED efforts. Hardware Configurations, Software Version Descriptions (SVDs), Baseline Letters, Build procedures, and Test plans/reports will be developed and delivered to SED not later than 60 days after the SIL is established. Test plans produced in support of System Engineering Technical Review (SETR) events shall be submitted 30 days prior to the event. Attend SED meetings and telephone conferencesSupport Acquisition documentation creation and reviewParticipate/provide representation in other SED directed meetings with other facilities, Program Management Offices (PMOs), SED Vendors, or Commands. Act as POCs to interact with SED, USMC Staff offices, and other agencies as required by SED. Familiarity with lithium battery safety procedures, battery replacement and documentation, ship-board Hazardous Materials procedures, specifically with Lithium batteries for hand-held and/or man-portable radios is a plus. Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Office 365) and DoD 5000 manual is a must.
