QUALIFICATIONS: The Director of Curriculum and Instruction shall: A master's degree from an accredited college or university. At least three years' successful experience as an elementary and/or secondary classroom teacher. Certification as an elementary and secondary principal, or Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction or Letter of Eligibility with at least three years' experience preferred. Prior experience as a principal is preferred. Advanced graduate work in the areas of curriculum development, supervision and/or evaluation of instructional practices preferred. Experience in coordination, development, implementation, and evaluation of curriculum. Experience in organizing and facilitating group projects in the areas of curriculum, instruction, assessment and staff development.
