By living our Core Values each day, we have the opportunity to make a difference and support our customers by following through on our promise to them of “providing YOU what YOU need, when YOU need it.”Job Summary — The Office Manager will be responsible for accounting functions for the office, maintaining the office, ensuring supplies and the facility are in order, and acting as a liaison between staff and the Human Resources Manager as needed.As a Staff Accountant, this person is responsible and accountable for: Prepare timely billings to customer, monitor/ensure timely payment, and make collections calls as required. Assist with Year-end Inventory. Job billing and creation of AIA billing documents. Financial statement preparation. Monthly sales tax and other taxes as calculated by CIH. Month end reconciliation, year-end and closing journal entries. Bank Deposits. Creation of Customer new accounts. ACH fraud prevention - review of positive pay exceptions. Lien Waivers. Bank reconciliations. Additional duties for office management include but are not limited to: Assist with Human Resources: new hire orientations, communicating staff issues to HR Manager, and other duties as assigned. Assist with Year-end Inventory. Duties as assigned by the General Manager, Controller, or CFO. Essential Functions Accounting. Payroll. Human Resources liaison functions. Using office equipment to complete tasks. Timely and professional correspondence through email. Ability to maintain confidentiality. Assisting with phones as needed. Experience & Other Requirements Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a similarly related field required. Pre-employment background screening. No issue with repetitive use of fingers and hands, standing, squatting, bending and lifting up to 20lbs. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in Accounting. Ability to use office equipment (printers, copiers, fax machines, mailing equipment, etc..) Powered by JazzHR
