Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Mechanic — Food Processing

Join our team and turn your maintenance expertise into dependable uptime for a high-volume food processing environment.Are You Ready ToTackle urgent production line calls, pinpoint faults, and update Production and Maintenance Leadership with clear repair timelines?Execute a thorough Preventive Maintenance Program—lubrication, inspections, and adjustments—to extend asset life and minimize downtime?Isolate and repair issues spanning mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and basic control systems?Disassemble, rebuild, align, and return machinery to service safely and efficiently?Verify replacement parts meet OEM specifications and manufacturer tolerances?Support utilities and infrastructure—HVAC, boilers, steam, plumbing, electrical systems, and building elements?Plan maintenance, repairs, and installations to avoid unnecessary production interruptions?Uphold safety, quality, GMP, and regulatory standards while maintaining clean tools, equipment, and workspaces?Ensure lines are free of tools and materials before any startup or restart after maintenance?Document work precisely in the EFCO work order ticketing system and keep accurate logs?Track parts usage and proactively notify Maintenance Leadership of material needs?Cross-train, share knowledge, and support Maintenance and Production teams as workloads shift?Flag unusual conditions, hazards, or potential facility damage immediately?What You BringHands-on knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and basic controls in an industrial setting.Experience repairing production and facility equipment (conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, packaging machinery).Understanding of industrial electrical systems from low-voltage (sensors, photo eyes, relays) to high-voltage (motors, panels, disconnects).Proficiency with preventive maintenance and lubrication routines.Baseline knowledge of HVAC, boilers, steam lines, and plant utilities.Ability to tear down, inspect, adjust, and reassemble equipment safely.Foundational welding, fabrication, and hand-tool skills.Comfort with work orders, safety directives, and SOPs.Strong communication with Maintenance and Production partners.Self-direction with minimal supervision and disciplined escalation.Capability to operate diagnostic tools, test equipment, and forklifts (with training/certification).Physical Demands & EnvironmentStanding and walking for full shifts; work in cold and freezer zones when required.Frequent bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.Stamina, strength, and dexterity to complete essential duties safely.Proficiencies We ValuePLC Troubleshooting SkillsIndustrial and Manufacturing EngineeringCNC Machine RepairBoiler TroubleshootingIndustrial Electrical ExperienceIndustrial Electrical SystemsTroubleshooting CNC MachinesTools & Technologies In PlayCircular SawCoordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)Conveyor SystemsGrowth & CollaborationBring your curiosity and craftsmanship.
