Our facility combines modern manufacturing practices with a mission‑driven approach to deliver durable, energy‑efficient housing solutions at scale.Job SummaryThe Purchasing Manager is responsible for overseeing all procurement activities at our modular manufacturing facility. This role ensures the timely, cost‑effective sourcing of materials, components, and services required to support production schedules while maintaining quality, compliance, and supplier performance. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of manufacturing procurement, supply chain optimization, and vendor relationship management-preferably within construction, modular, or engineered‑to‑order environments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Purchasing and Materials departments to ensure efficient procurement and inventory managementDevelop and implement purchasing strategies, policies, and proceduresNegotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms with suppliersCollaborate with internal teams to assess inventory needs and resolve supply issuesAnalyze market trends and delivery systems to identify sourcing opportunitiesRecommend supplier bids for approval to senior leadershipSecure materials and supplies to meet production schedulesMonitor budgets and recommend cost-saving measuresPrepare reports on market conditions and merchandise costsResolve vendor grievances and ensure contract complianceAdminister NetSuite and OffSight systems for purchasing and inventoryMentor and train purchasing staff, conduct performance reviews, and manage departmental workflowParticipate in hiring and onboarding processes for direct reportsRequirementsEducation: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration.Experience: Five (5) years of experience in purchasing or related capacity, previous experience working with diverse populations preferred. Proven background in production environment.Certificates & Licenses: Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
