Physician - Adult Medicine Location: Hartford, CT Virtus Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Physician specializing in Adult Medicine to join our partner health group in Hartford, CT. This is a full-time opportunity for a board-certified physician to provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population in a dynamic and fulfilling environment.Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to adult patients in an outpatient setting. Conduct thorough medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and lifestyle counseling. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care. Provide patient education on chronic disease management, preventive care, and health promotion. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, adhering to established guidelines. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the Adult Medicine department.Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of medicine and possess Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Infectious Diseases. Possess a valid State of Connecticut licensure and have or be eligible to obtain DEA and state narcotic registration.Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of experience working in an ambulatory setting or providing urgent care.
